Nine days before a tragic attack hits Copenhagen, eight strangers go about their lives oblivious to the dangers ahead.

 The Danish intelligence service PET briefs Elisabeth; the bag found near the asylum centre contained ammunitions and weapons, but for reasons unknown Elisabeth doesn’t want to inform the press  .

Holger has a surprise visit at the nursing home, and Jamal decides to get a gun in order to protect himself.  

A potential terror threat puts Elisabeth in a dilemma that may have dire consequences for both the general population and her private life  .

Holger is nervous about the dinner with his children, but a rushed mistake changes the course of his evening .

Marie lies between life and death at the hospital, and Louise reconsiders her life and her faith.
